Process Engineer

Your Role
- Process Engineer responsible for prototyping, small scale production and process development to bring new TERASi products to market.
- You work alongside TERASi engineering and product teams to drive development of new products for telecom, SATCOM and radar markets
- You are responsible for small-batch production of TERASi products and ensuring they meet customer requirements
- You conduct R&D work to enable the next generations of TERASi products based on cutting-edge manufacturing processes
Tasks
- Operate etching, lithography and metallisation tools in a cleanroom environment
- Assemble prototypes and products using semiconductor process tools (bonding, dicing, etc.)
- Propose and implement changes to improve existing processes and workflows
- Develop new processes and routines in tandem with design team for future products
- Create scripts for improvement and automatization of our processes
- Document production processes and output to support work of other teams
- Maintain raw material and product inventory
- Perform QC and inspection of products and prototypes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare process flows, troubleshoot process issues, and implement solutions
Requirements
Education
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. degree in engineering, physics or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of electrical engineering (RF, wireless, semiconductors, etc.) is a benefit
Experience
- Cleanroom knowledge or experience is a benefit, but not mandatory
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role is a benefit
- Knowledge of microfabrication, plasma physics, clean room processing or industrial manufacturing is beneficial
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to formulate and diagnose technical issues and explain them to others
- Programming (python or MATLAB) skills are a benefit
- Strong English writing, communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable with hands-on, practical work
- Methodical and analytical mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Open-minded. Eager to share knowledge, new findings, ideas and experience
- Good social and networking skills to support teamwork in project groups
