Process Engineer
About Terasi
We build wireless systems that deliver connectivity and awareness to critical industries where speed, security, and adaptability cannot be compromised — pocket-sized radios delivering gigabit-speed data links in minutes, not hours. We build everything in-house: RF design, microelectronics, advanced packaging, manufacturing, and test. Whoever joins now isn't inheriting a finished machine — you're building it, alongside our design and RF engineers.
You won't be maintaining someone else's production line — you'll be defining what "production" means at Terasi as we go from prototype to volume, owning the cleanroom process end to end with real room to grow as we scale.
The Role
You'll be the engineer who brings Terasi's products to life. This role sits at the intersection of R&D and production — you'll take designs from the lab into small-batch manufacturing, developing and refining the processes that get us there.
Own small-batch production, prototype development, and process development/refinement in our cleanroom.
Work closely with the design team to improve performance, create new solutions, and solve key technical challenges.
Manage production and inventory, run QC, and maintain dialogue with suppliers and partners.
Develop production tooling and process flows to increase yield and throughput.
Take on significant scope as Terasi grows from prototype to volume production — this role grows with the company.
Key Requirements
Ph.D., or M.Sc. with 2+ years of relevant experience, in Engineering or Physics.
Strong knowledge of microfabrication, clean room processing, 2nd level integration, microelectronics, and industrial manufacturing.
Experience in cleanroom production at small-batch quantities, with an understanding of production management.
Hands-on experience designing, characterizing, and troubleshooting production tooling and process flows.
Familiarity with industrial-grade production tools and their requirements.
Ability to formulate technical issues and solve them independently.
Additional Requirements
Good written and spoken English communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
Programming skills — Python or MATLAB.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so don't wait to apply.
